Wednesday September 9, spend 11 weeks getting to know Jesus' twelve disciples. The Twelve Jesus Chose introduces us to the occupations of Jesus' disciples, their life of faith, and their ministries after Jesus' ascension. Not onluy will you know the Twelve better, but you will make modern-day connections to their lives. All materials will be provided.
Sunday, September 13, between services we will begin WELS and Other Christian Denominations. "Pastor, what does fill-in-the-blank church teach?" "Pastor, what makes fill-in-the-blank church different from us?" Ever have those questions? Curosity may lead us to explore what a church believes and teaches, and God does want us to carefully examine what a church believes and teaches before we join it. Together we will examine core teachings of other church bodies using their words and compare them to what the Bible teaches. In doing so, we have a chance to better understand and communicate why we believe what we believe. All materials will be provided.
